AdoptionFees

Each and every one of our rescued dogs are evaluated carefully prior to release from their current situation and then placed in a loving foster home or boarding facility until a foster home becomes available. From the time they enter our rescue until they are matched with their forever families, these dogs are rehabilitated, trained and in many cases loved for the first time in their lives. Thank you for wanting to be a part of their new lives!

ADOPTION FEES 
  
*Purebred puppies 8 weeks through 7 months are $400 with a $75 fully refundable spay/neuter deposit (if applicable) and a $75 fully refundable training deposit.

*Lab mix puppies 8 weeks through 7 months are $300 with a $75 fully refundable spay/neuter deposit (if applicable) and a $75 fully refundable training deposit.

*Dogs 8 months through 4 years are $300.

*Dogs 5 years through 7 years are $250.

*Dogs 8 years and over are $200.


*Bonded pairs are the regular fee based on their age for the first one (dog) and $100 for the second. Please note that 2 puppies from a litter are not considered a bonded pair and must be adopted separately. 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION 
  
Our adoption fees are established to offset the high cost that comes with a non-profit rescue organization. All dog adoptions include a vet exam, full vaccinations (excluding rabies vaccine and second/third round of shots for puppies 4 months and younger,) and spay/neuter. Please note that while we attempt to have all dogs examined, vaccinated and spayed/neutered prior to leaving our care, in some instances, one or more of these items may need to be completed following adoption. In those cases, simply contact us to coordinate having the item completed at one of our approved veterinarians.

********Please note that we do NOT reimburse for veterinary expenses incurred without prior approval OR at outside veterinarians. If you take a dog to foster with the intent of adopting them, and the dog demonstrates a need for veterinary care, you MUST contact us so we may direct and authorize treatment.**********

Once a dog is officially adopted and we have received the signed Terms of Adoption Agreement, we will send out the dogs' records within 14 business days. If you have adopted a dog and not received these records, please email us at labradorsandfriends@yahoo.com.

If you have adopted a dog that required a spay/neuter and/or a training deposit, please send proof of these to us atlabradorsandfriends@yahoo.com. Once we receive the documentation, we will send out your reimbursement. PLEASE ALLOW 30 DAYS FROM THE TIME OF RECEIPT FOR ALL REIMBURSEMENTS. If you have provided the documentation and it has been 30 days, please e-mail us at labradorsandfriends@yahoo.com.
